loving istanbul

Perfect 2 degrees weather and out of our hotel room its like i painted the town yellow. Color black, grey & brown where everywhere and having this canary yellow jacket added color to the gloomy city Istanbul. Loving my new pink bag (a gift from my hubby), scarf from Paris and boots from peacock. Shopping here is crazy, too much choices and boots to love.

i've always been a fan of stilletos and heels but since my new passion & business requires alot of movement and long walks i found myself loving flats. so i got these new chanel flats which i think will be my new favorite thing. can't get enough chanel lately after watching her life story on mbc and i got it on dvd too.

went to city center to check the philip stein watch hon wants me to have as xmas present :) aint he a darling :) still thinking if thats what i really wanted... but i clearly told him no bag dis xmas which he did not expect me saying, but yes i think i reached my quota for bags this year. i'll be posting my new love bag soon, still checking which wardrobe to match it.

this is me reading magazines at border * for free * since teo is around to remind me that i dont need to buy 'em.

got a recipe journal for my recipe coz lately i am kinda into cooking and baking and i want this journal to be passed on to my children and the next generation after the other.

oh and i decided FINALLY what to get teo for xmas... a new eyeglasses - still contemplating between tag heuer or a mont blanc... hmmmm! so soon his old spectacles can retire :)



presenting the flyaway/unamanagable hair of mine. ever since i chopped my long hair last year - jan 15, 2008 to be exact i wanted it shorter and shorter but this time i'll try not to get a cut for the next 6 months but to accomplish that i have to bare the flyaway hair phase :( sad but i can always blow dry it. wish me luck.

eid holiday - dubai bound

the long holiday is just around the corner, while everyone is planning for an out of the country trip we for a change is looking forward to staying in dubai and celebrate it with a to-do list which we plan to accomplish before the eid holiday ends. also we need to save save and save for next may's grand vacation for hons big bday bash.

1. re-paint the house cotton white, ive been here since 2005 and i must say i am very happy living in this house aside from the convenience of feeling safe, the area is accessible to everywhere and i get to have my own parking.

2. buy a new bed or customize one - but its still under negotiation with hubby :) alot of convincing to do.

3. get teo his xmas gift, i already have an idea what to get him just need to be fully decided that he will deifintely like it. it has to be extra special since last year we didnt exchanged gift coz we had a lavish white xmas in turkey.

4. finalize the shopping list & wrap them :)

5. prepare the menu for xmas dinner. lately i have been enjoying and getting serious with cooking & baking so i am really looking forward for xmas dinner to showcase my "beouf bourginon"

still need to add more to our to do list but i am sure its going to be a fun filled and quality time week with hon.
